Comedian Ed Byrne has been a self-confessed misery since the age of 23, but he is now in his forties and has apparently embraced middle age with open arms.
He is currently touring the country with his Roaring Forties show in which he gives out his clarion cry ‘I am in my Forties. Hear me roar!’
And audiences will be able to see the show at Milton Keynes Theatre on Thursday, November 14 at 8pm.
Ed’s stand-up career began during his college years at Strathclyde University, Glasgow. As student welfare officer, he was often called on to MC events at the university and was soon being invited to perform around Scotland.
He quit his studies to start up a small comedy club in Glasgow before moving to London.
During his 20 years in comedy, Ed has enjoyed success in the UK and Ireland, having performed in hit tours and sold out on many runs at the Edinburgh Fringe as well as having had a successful two-week run in the West End.
Ed also has a huge overseas following and has performed to capacity audiences in Australia, Singapore, Belgium, Bermuda, Norway, Austria, Swiitzerland and more.
