An innovative style of theatre comes to The Castle in Wellingborough with a play called Gatecrash.
The production from Zest Theatre uses wireless technology to hand control of the entertainment to each audience member.
The play is about a house party held by Sam.
His parents are on holiday so he decides to invite over a few close friends, at least that was the plan.
The unusual approach to storytelling on stage allows the audience to pick and choose how they experience the story.
Using Silent Disco headphones audience members will be able to step through Sam’s front door and choose which conversations at the houseparty they want to listen in to.
Zest Theatre was set up in 2007 and it aims to create theatre for, by and with young people.
There are two performances of Gatecrash on Thursday, October 16 at 7pm and 9pm.
Gatecrash is suitable for audiences aged 14 and over.
Tickets are priced £12 (£10) and can be purchased by calling the box office on 01933 270 007 or online at www.the castle.org.uk.
