Comedians Josh Widdicombe and Seann Walsh have joined forces to present what promises to be a side-splitting stand-up double bill at The Core at Corby Cube next week.

Brought up in a tiny Devon village, Josh is now known for “sparkling observational comedy with a touch of trademark pedantry”.

He made his stand-up debut in 2008, reaching the final of So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Fringe in the same year.

He has since been named FHM Stand-up hero and Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year and was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.

His co-star in this show, Seann Walsh, pictured left, is known to be “charming, charismatic and a natural motor-mouth”.

His haul of accolades includes the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year, which he won after two years of stand-up. Time Out dubbed him “this generation’s Dylan Moran”.

The show will be performed on Thursday, May 9, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £14.50 or £12.50 for concessions. Call the ticket line on 01536 470470 or visit www.thecorecorby.com.

The show is recommended for ages 14 and above.
