Comedy capers coming to Oundle

A stage show which made a star of James Corden both on the West End and Broadway is coming to a theatre in Oundle.

The Stahl Theatre hosts the comedy One Man, Two Guvnors on Thursday and Friday October 6 and 7 at 7.45pm each night.

Richard Bean’s play is based on The Servant of Two Masters by Carlo Goldoni and this latest show is directed by Anthony Orr.

Francis Henshall is trying to juggle two jobs at once.

One of his new guvnors, Roscoe Crabbe, is really his twin sister Rachel posing as her dead brother to collect a £6,000 debt.

His other guvnor killed Roscoe in a knife fight, but is in love with Rachel. Lost? Well Francis certainly is!

All he’s interested in is getting fed and wooing Dolly the receptionist.

The farcical comedy took the West End by storm in 2011 and Broadway shortly afterwards. Fisher House’s energetic performance of this modern day classic.
