Comedian and actor Bradley Walsh has been announced as the star of this year’s panto at Milton Keynes Theatre, which is Peter Pan.

It is a return trip for the performer who previously appeared at the venue in Cinderella and Aladdin. As well as being a comedian, Bradley is well known for his roles in Law & Order, The Chase and Coronation Street, in which he played Danny Baldwin.

He will be playing the role of Smee, Captain Hook’s first mate. He said: “I can’t wait to be back at Milton Keynes Theatre, my happiest memories of panto were during my time spent there. This year I’m back with a show that will be fun for everyone. Especially Me. Bring it on.”

The pirates joining him on board will be played by Britain’s Got Talent dance stars Flawless.

The street dance group will become a group of hip-hopping moonwalking pirates for the show.

The role of Captain Hook will be taken by West End star David Badella.

He created the role of Satan/Warm Up Man in the Jerry Springer – The Opera show and has appeared in the Rocky Horror Show, Chicago and West Side Story.

Tickets for the show, which runs from December 5 to January 11, are on sale at Milton Keynes Theatre box office. Call 0844 871 7652 or visit www.atgtickets.com/miltonkeynes.
