There will be plenty to entertain dance fans in Kettering and Corby during the coming week.

Classical ballet, tap and modern dance styles will be showcased at The Core at Corby Cube on Saturday and Sunday.

Sharon Potter and Dena Smith School of Dance will present Showcase 2013, including performers ranging from three-year-olds to older dancers at an advanced level.

The show will take place at 3pm on both days and at 6.30pm on Saturday. Tickets cost £7.50. Visit www.thecorecorby.com.

On Monday at The Masque Theatre at The Latimer Arts College in Castle Way, Barton Seagrave, there will be the Latimer School Summer Dance Show.

The Enchanted Wood show will be a student dance interpretation of Enid Blyton’s Faraway Tree stories. The show will begin at 7.30pm and tickets cost £6 or £4 (www.lighthousetheatre.co.uk).

On Saturday, the Nene Valley Dance Academy will also return to The Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering with their show Rhythm Electric, featuring an array of dance styles, from street to tap and ballet. Shows will be held at 2.30pm and 6pm. Tickets cost £8 or £6 (www.lighthousetheatre.co.uk).
