Director Gary Sefton has returned to Northampton’s Royal & Derngate to stage Shakespeare’s comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Gary’s name will be known to Northampton audiences as he also directed the Royal & Derngate’s A Christmas Carol, Diary of a Nobody and Travels With My Aunt.
This production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream is set in Edwardian England, but mischief is afoot and the usual divides of upstairs/downstairs have been turned upside down.
The play, which stars Amy Robbins (of ITV’s The Royal), will run from tomorrow until May 11, with performances at 7.45pm most evenings and matinees at 2.30pm on Thursdays and Saturdays (apart from this Saturday).
Tickets cost £13-£28. Call 01604 624811.
