A grisly, blood-soaked tale will be told at the Royal& Derngate in Northampton next month.
Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street is to be performed by the Royal & Derngate Youth Theatre.
Stephen Sondheim’s chilling musical thriller tells the story of Benjamin Barker, who returns to London with revenge on his mind.
He changes his name to Sweeney Todd and enlists the help of Mrs Lovett, whose pie shop becomes an integral part of his vengeful plot.
The production involves 25 young people aged from 14 to 21 who have been rehearsing since February,
The show comes to the Royal stage at 7.45pm on Friday, July 11, and at 7.45pm on Saturday, July 12.
