Squeeze’s Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook are back on the road together for the first time in almost 20 years and perform at Royal & Derngate in Northampton on Monday.
The ‘At Odds Couple’ show will feature songs and stories and celebrate the pair’s music and partnership.
In addition to performing a selection of hits, including Up The Junction and Cool For Cats, Chris and Glenn will be dusting down some previously unrecorded songs as well as playing tracks from their solo careers.
The duo have also been working on new Squeeze material, set for release next year.
Since reforming in 2007, Squeeze have become a favourite on the festival circuit with appearances at V, Oxegen, T in the Park, Latitude and Coachella festivals.
In 2010 the band’s contribution to music was noted with the site of their first gig being awarded a prestigious PRS For Music Heritage Plaque.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost from £25 before fees.
