Legendary indie-rock New Yorker Jeffrey Lewis will make a welcome return to Northampton next Thursday with his band, the Jrams.
Lewis will be playing in the NN Cafe Courtyard, with support by Northampton’s Anguish Sandwich and Adolphus Tips.
Lauded by the likes of Jarvis Cocker, Lewis leads a double life of comic book artist and indie-rock musician.
During his 15-year career as a musician, Lewis has released numerous albums and shared stages with the likes of The Vaselines, Stephen Malkmus and Pulp. He plays at NN Cafe, in Guildhall Road, on Thursday, June 26 at 7pm.
Tickets cost £8 in advance via www.wegottickets.com
The gig will be preceded by a Q&A in the NN Cafe where Lewis will talk about his work as a visual artist and comic book underground hero.
Tickets for the Q&A are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis via www.wegottickets.com/event/277722
