The TTT Disco, which was synonymous with soul and funk music of the 1960s and 70s in Northamptonshire, is celebrating 50 years since its formation with a farewell reunion gig.

Bob Kaufman and Pete Mace launched TTT in 1965 and will return one last time to one of their most popular venues at Northants County Cricket Ground, in Wantage Road, Northampton, on Saturday, April 11.

“The newly-refurbished Speckled Hen Lounge is the ideal place,” said Bob. “Tickets are already on sale and the response has been phenomenal.

“We have had requests from all over the county from people we haven’t seen for many years”.

TTT performed at many venues including Sywell, The Salon, Freewheelers in Kettering, Buckby Lion, Sands, Circles, and Rebeccas in Wellingborough to name but a few.

Original DJs Alan Melhado, Steve Cheney and surprise guests will also dust down their vinyl and play a selection of Motown, disco, funk and Northern Soul.

For information on this one-off event, call Bob on 07855 928615 or to book tickets with a credit/debit card, contact Maria on 01502 581900. Tickets cost £8 in advance.
