Legendary ska band Madness will play at Northamptonshire’s county cricket ground on Sunday.

The band, whose hits include Baggy Trousers, House Of Fun and Driving In My Car, played on the roof of Buckingham Palace last summer as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. They released their latest album, Oui oui Si si ja ja da da in last year.

Support acts playing include By The Rivers and Northampton act, the Bighead.

The Bighead fuse reggae incorporating a righteous word-style that harks back to Bob Dylan.

By The Rivers, who will be main support, have already supported Madness earlier this year. They combine reggae, ska, soul and rich vocal duets and a soaring brass section.

Tickets cost from £38.50 and are on sale now via www.eventim.co.uk or by calling 0844 249 1000.

Gates open at 5pm, the performance time is 8.45pm. Parking is free.
