Multi-instrumentalist and one half of the award-winning acoustic duo, Show Of Hands, Phil Beer returns to The Castle in Wellingborough next week.
With a career spanning more than 36 years, Beer has a huge catalogue of music to draw upon for his solo appearances.
All are songs and music of memory and significance sung in his own subtle and melodic style, interjected with musings.
An audience with Beer has been described as a glimpse into his world where folk, blues, hymns, the sea and the West Country combine.
He is regarded as one of the most popular musicians on the acoustic circuit.
Show Of Hands released their debut album in 1987. Their latest LP, Centenary: Words and Music of the Great War, was released last year.
Beer plays the Wellingborough venue on Thursday, January 15.
Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost £12 before fees.
