Northampton’s Sara Spade will celebrate the release of her debut album, The Boy Next Door, by performing at the town’s museum and art gallery on Friday.
Spade combines original retro-pop swing songs with covers and leads her band on ukulele, guitar and vocals.
She is joined by drummer and percussionist, Johnny Mattock, double bassist Jonny Gee and guitarist Rod Fogg. Sara Spade has been championed by the likes of Jools Holland, who has been playing her album on his radio show.
He also invited her to open his Viva La Diva festival in Canary Wharf.
Tickets for tomorrow’s show cost £6 in advance or £8 on the door.
Doors open at 7pm.
