Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise will bring ‘the show that never was’ from the golden era of music to Royal & Derngate this week.

Backed by the rocking six-piece Paradise Band, the concert will be compered by John-Simon Rawlings as The Big Bopper, introducing astoundingly accurate tributes to Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison, Eddie Cochran and Buddy Holly.

The second half opens with a concert within a concert, recreating Elvis’ later tours, complete with Vegas jump-suits, belts and rings.

In the role of The King, Richard Atkins’ attention to detail is legendary and he has appeared with Elvis’s backing group The Jordanaires.

To close the show, Buddy, Eddie, The Big O and The Killer return for a finale .

Rock ‘n’ Roll Paradise is on Thursday, July 4 at 7.30pm,

The two hour show is packed with more than 40 great songs.
