Public Service Broadcasting headline The Picturedrome in Northampton on Sunday.
Comprised of J Willgoose, Esq. and his drumming companion, Wrigglesworth, the pair blend old public information films and archive footage with driving rhythms and atmospheric electronics.
The duo release their debut album, Inform – Educate – Entertain, in May. The lead single from the record, Signal 30, is a notoriously grisly and hard-hitting US road safety film from 1959.
The album features previous singles Spitfire, ROYGBIV and Everest, three tracks which all won BBC 6Music’s Rebel Playlist last year and the band sold 13,000 copies of their debut EP, The War Room.
PSB play on Sunday, March 24. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £7.
