Reverend and The Makers headlined Corby’s Zombie Hut on Friday night.

The Sheffield band led by Jon McClure were in town to play a warm up gig ahead of Saturday’s show with the Courteeners.

Opening with Bassline, the band played tracks from their three albums as well as some material for their forthcoming new record.

Amid sweltering temperatures, McClure had the whole venue bouncing along to some of the band’s biggest indie dance hits including Heavyweight Champion of the World and FA Cup anthem Shine The Light.

After set closer Silence Is Talking, McClure grabbed an acoustic guitar and headed outside to play a few covers while standing on a bench surrounded by fans.
