Gilad Atzmon and his Orient House Ensemble bring their world-jazz to The Castle theatre in Wellingborough this week.

Saxophonist, composer and author, Atzmon will be joined by his group which features Frank Harrison on piano, Yaron Stavi on bass and Eddie Hick on drums.

Together, they will be playing a breathtaking mix of be-pop artistry and Middle-Eastern influences.

Born in Israel but resident here for almost 20 years, Atzmon played in the 1990s with the late Ian Drury and the Blockheads and has performed with Sir Paul McCartney and Sinead O’Connor.

Tickets for the show on Thursday, July 4, cost £12.50. Doors open at 8pm.

Touring rock ‘n’ roll show That’ll Be The Day will make it’s debut appearance at The Castle on July 6. Tickets cost £21.50. To book, call 01933 270 007 visit www.thecastle.org.uk.
