The NUTSTOCK festival is back this year for another weekend of music, entertainment, local food and ales.
The event takes place across three days from tomorrow to Sunday at The Walnut Tree Inn, Blisworth.
Now in its fifth year, Nutstock features an eclectic line-up with music from local talent, including Cousin Avi, The Cloud, Boxeddy, Mystic Crew, Rapscallion, The Angel’s Share, Fuego Nights and acoustic sessions, which includes a set from UK OpenMic finalist, Hannah Faulkner.
OptikalFunk will start Friday evening with a set which will include a tribute to Michael Jackson, featuring Kieran Alleyne, who played the young performer in the West End musical, Thriller.
Closing the Saturday evening will be the 2006 X-Factor finalist, Ben Mills (above) and his Band, playing soul and rock covers as well as material from his new album, Freedom.
Other entertainment includes trickster Dave Chameleon, who will be entertaining the crowds with his rope walking and circus skills, as well as comedy from Edinburgh Fringe regulars, Brian Damage and Krysstal.
The food includes hog and lamb roasts, barbecue and curries. There will be a wide selection of local real ales and ciders, including a special Nutstock Festival Ale, brewed by Great Oakley Brewery.
