NN Gallery marks Courtyard opening with weekend of music

Northampton’s NN art gallery and cafe launches its Summer Terrace launch weekend from Friday with three days of music, real ale and food in the venue’s Courtyard.

Friday will feature Euro-pop from Paris acts Fiodor Dreamdog and minimalist indie rock trio Atlas Crocodile.

Both bands will be joined by DJs Gumbo A Go-Go and Tropical Discotheque.

Eight piece psychedelic act Misty’s Big Adventure return to Northampton on the Saturday with support from The Retro Spankees.

Misty’s Big Adventure combine jazz, lounge, psychedelia, two tone, pop and punk.

The Birmingham band’s live shows have achieved legendary status and see the band accompanied by their dancer called Erotic Volvo.

Sunday’s ‘Lazy weekend wind-down’ will include music by Leila Jane, Aoife Foley, Joel Harries, Blisworth Tunnel Rats and Sean Grant followed by a cafe after party featuring 72% Morrissey.

NN Contemporary Art Gallery and Cafe is in Guildhall Road.
