The James Taylor Quartet returns this week for their annual fund-raising show for Northampton addiction and homeless charity, CAN
The band will be playing all their hits as well as songs from their acclaimed new album, Closer to the Moon.
The JTQ’s music represents a hybrid of black American groove, soul, jazz and funk from the 1950s through to the 1970s.
They have worked with the likes of Tom Jones, Manic Street Preachers and U2 and were a favourite of John Peel.
CAN chief executive, Linda Juland said: “These events not only bring our local communities together and raise awareness of the work that CAN provides, but also raise much needed funds for the charity.”
Support is by The Snakeman 3 and DJ Alex Novak.
The JTQ play the Picturedrome, in Kettering Road, on Thursday, December 19.
Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £15.
