Jack Harris headlines the Kontra Roots Club tomorrow night.
In 2005, aged 19, he was the first international act to win the prestigious New Folk songwriting competition at The Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas.
He has since gigged in the UK, USA and Europe as a headline act and supporting some of the UK’s most illustrious folk names. His live show is a mix of songcraft and storytelling, adorned by intricate fingerstyle guitar and soulful vocals.
Support is by Marie-Claire Berreen and Kersten Luts.
Kontra is at Kennedy’s Bar at the Tower Sports Ground, Irthlingborough Road, Finedon. The music starts at 8pm and admission is free.
