Dynamic singer-songwriter, Dan Britton, headlines the Kontra Roots Club tomorrow (Friday).
Britton blends US West Coast with hints of Celtic and country with roots and rock.
As well as playing either solo or with his band, he also performs in duo with Chris Conway and with traditional Irish band, the Govannen.
Britton has also played guitar for Jackie Leven, Bob Cheevers and Cathy Lesurf and released several acclaimed albums.
Support is by the Abrahams, Jane Thomason and Patrick Fox. The Abrahams are a progressive acoustic rock skiffle act while Jane Thomason combines jazz and classical influences.
Trained in violin and piano, she has sung in choirs and madrigal groups, and has produced and performed plays and performance pieces.
Kontra is at Kennedy’s Bar, Irthlingborough Road, Finedon. Doors open at 8pm and admission is free.
