Enter Shikari will play the Roadmender in Northampton in April as part of a 24-date intimate UK tour.
The band released their third album, A Flash Flood Of Colour, last year and ended 2012 picking up Kerrang! magazine’s ‘Album Of The Year’ honour, as well as high placings in the end of year polls and round-ups from other major music magazines.
Despite playing to more than 30,000 people in the UK in December alone last year, the band wanted to take to the stages of Britain one more time before beginning work on their fourth album.
Enter Shikari said: “We speak to a lot of people who come to the big shows and we’re very aware that a large number of them travel distances to come and see us.
“Not everyone lives in a major city, so we figured it was time we went out and tried to visit some people a little closer to home.
“It’s going to be awesome to be in small rooms and up-close-and-personal with crowds again, plus visiting some new places along the way”.
Support will be by Hacktivist.
Enter Shikari play the Northampton Roadmender on Sunday, April 27.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, January 18 and cost £15. They are available from www.livenation.co.uk or www.ticketmaster.co.uk
