Dreadzone play new album Escapades show

Genre splicing dub reggae act Dreadzone return to the region this weekend touring in support of their latest album Escapades.

The record, which was released at the end of last year, is the band’s seventh studio album and features Mick Jones from The Clash and Lena Cullen on vocals.

The album was born from a heavy touring schedule when founder members Greg Dread and Leo WIlliams took their drum and bass duties onto the Big Audio Dynamite reunion tour alongside Mick Jones and Don Letts.

Dreadzone play Bedford’s Esquires on Saturday, March 8.

The night will also feature DJ Chris Abrams on the decks playing the best in ska, soul and reggae.

Doors open at 8pm and tickets cost £16.50.
