Des O’Connor brings comedy and music show

Comedian, singer and former Northampton resident Des O’Connor brings his new show to The Stables in Wavendon this week.

In a career spanning more than four decades, the former chat show host and Countdown presenter has released more than 36 albums, had four top 10 singles and one number one with I Pretend.

He is is one of the world’s most popular and best-loved entertainers.

Des was awarded a CBE by the Queen in her birthday honours list in 2008 and collected his award a few days after the release of his 34th album.

He has previously met and worked with the biggest names in showbiz including Frank Sinatra, 
Sean Connery, The Beatles, Barbara Streisand, Robbie Williams, Pavarotti and Elton John.

This is a rare opportunity to see a true show business legend live on stage for an evening of comedy, laughter and music.

Des O’Connor plays on Wednesday, December 11.
