THE CranfordLive! music festival takes place this weekend.

Among the top acts are The Jeremiahs, a four-piece outfit from Cornwall, who supported Reef earlier this year.

Susan Valliant Speer will return to the event singing numbers from the Great American Songbook, supported by her own band.

Other acts include The Shamlas, featuring Cranford’s Bob Stonebridge on saxophone, The Abrahams, The Jebs, and London-based singer-songwriter, Mitch Daniels.

Cranford Live! begins at noon this Sunday, in the village with a display by the Scottish Pipe Band in the main arena and the music continues until 8pm.

There will be local ales, wine, a Pimm’s bar, hog roast and home-made food and cakes.

Admission is £5 per person and free for under-16s.
