Big Country return to region for Seer LP tour

Following last month's gig at the Roadmender in Northampton, Big Country are back in the region for another show.

The band is on the road marking the 30th of their third LP, The Seer.

Famously, the album included an appearance by Kate Bush, joining the late Stuart Adamson on the title track and the single Look Away.

The song was the group’s biggest UK single, reaching number seven in the charts.

The album itself reached number two with Rolling Stone calling the tracks One Great Thing, I Walk the Hill and Eiledon “stirring expressions of the desire for individual integrity and a future filled with peace”.

The band will perform the album in its entirety, as well as songs from across their multi- million selling and number one albums.

Big Country comprise of singer and guitarist Bruce Watson, drummer Mark Brzezicki, guitarists Jamie Watson and Simon Hough and bassist Scott Whitley.

They headline the Stables in Wavendon on Tuesday, December 13. Tickets cost from £22.50 before fees via www.stables.org
