Metal legend Max Cavalera brings Soulfly to The Craufurd Arms in Wolverton on Sunday.

Brazilian-born Cavalera rose to fame in the late 1980s, forming Sepultura with his brother, Igor, before leaving the band in 1996.

Soulfly released their ninth album, Savages, last year.

Produced by Terry Date, the album was the first to feature Cavalera’s son in a full-time capacity as their drummer.

The pair are joined by guitarist Marc Rizzo and bassist Tony Campos.

Soulfly combine different styles of heavy metal with Brazilian tribal and world music.

Supultura’s 1993 album, Chaos AD, is often regarded as one of the best heavy metal albums of all time and has won numerous awards.

Soulfly play on Sunday, July 6.

Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets cost £16 in advance.
