Singer-songwriter Billy Lockett has been revealed as the main stage headliner for this year’s Northampton Music Festival.
More than 60 acts will play across seven stages when the event returns in June.
Organisers have now announced full details of who will be playing.
In the past 12 months, Lockett reached number 40 in the UK album charts with his second EP, Pathways, and number one in the iTunes Singer-Songwriter Charts while also touring with indie pop superstar, Birdy, and supporting KT Tunstall, Lana Del Ray and Nina Nesbitt and headlining his own tour.
BBC Introducing Northants will be hosting two stages at the Department of Liquor & Social Affairs in Bridge Street while the NN Cafe’s courtyard in Guildhall Road will host folk acts.
Northampton College will also have its own stage with music from students past and present in the courtyard of the Black Bottom Club in George Row. The festival has been supported by Northampton Borough Council as well as Northampton BID.
Northampton Music Festival is on Sunday, June 22. Musicians will be playing on stages across the town centre with the main stage acts performing on the Market Square stage.
Music will run from noon until 9pm and admission to all venues will be free.
