Foodies from across Northamptonshire will be heading across the border to Olney tomorrow when the town celebrates its fourth annual food festival.
The Big Olney Food Festival (BOFF), which is organised by the Olney Chamber of Trade, and sponsored by David Coles Architects, includes a host of stalls featuring food and drink provided by local producers.
Dishes on offer will be provided by businesses such as Pastures Farm, The Bull Inn, Beans, the Courtyard Brasserie, the Much Ado Delicatessen, Four Pillars Tandoori and Teapots.
Alcoholic and children’s refreshments will be provided by Bacchus, Hopping Mad Brewery and The Bull, while tea and coffee will be organised by Teapots and Beans.
Entertainment will include wine and beer tasting and live music with jazz pianist, Alan Houghton, the ukulele group, MKulele, and the rock band, Chocolate Badger.
“BOFF is a great event which gives you the chance to sample the wonderful variety of food and drink that is available in the Olney area,” said Olney Chamber of Trade Chair, Samantha Tomlin, who is organising the event with James Lomax from The Bull Inn. “Each year the event gets bigger and better. More than 2,000 people came along last year and we hope it will be even more popular this year.”
The BOFF event will run from noon until 10pm. For more information log on to www.olneychamberoftrade.co.uk
