A former Brookside actor will be one of the leading stars of this year’s pantomime at the Lighthouse Theatre in Kettering.

Steven Pinder, who played Max Farnham in the Liverpool based soap for 13 years, plays King Cuthbert in Jack and the Beanstalk.

He said: “It is a delight to be asked to take part in pantomime and is a lot of fun.

“I have worked with this company before and have always enjoyed it.

“I am very impressed by the stage and can’t wait to perform on it.”

Appearing alongside Steven are former Hollyoaks actress Carley Stenson and Emmerdale’s Kevin Pallister.

Packed with toe-tapping songs, traditional slapstick and dazzling sets, Jordan Productions is pulling out all the stops to make the 2015 panto one to really remember. Featuring a growing beanstalk and a blundering 10 foot giant, it’s set to raise the roof of the Lighthouse Theatre.

Jack and the Beanstalk is at the Lighthouse Theatre, Kettering from Friday, December 11, to Sunday, January 3. Tickets are available on 01536 414141 or online at www.lighthousetheatre.co.uk
