This apple martini recipe is the latest to be submitted courtesy of Warner Edwards Distillery in Harrington, Northamptonshire.
Craft distillers and co-founders Tom Warner and Sion Edwards are toasting their recent success at the Carlsberg UK Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards 2013/14 where Warner Edwards Distillery won Gold in the New Local Drink of the Year category for its Harrington Dry Gin.
Having already won a Silver medal in the International Wine and Spirit Competition and a Silver medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the Gold award is the latest honour for the distillery’s Harrington Dry Gin, a key ingredient of this cocktail recipe.
The Toffee Apple Martini
25ml Warner Edwards Harrington Dry Gin
25ml toffee liqueur
37.5ml pressed apple juice
Co-owner Tom Warner said: “Simply shake the ingredients over ice and serve in a martini glass with a slice of apple. This is ideal for Halloween.”
