The team at Farrington Oils have come up with another tasty treat.
September is the season for apples, and with your abundant crop you can quickly use them up!
This cake is so simple and easy to make – you put all the ingredients in a bowl, mix it thorough and you create a fabulously moist cinnamony cake.

2 tsp (heaped) cinnamon
120ml Mellow Yellow rapeseed oil
275g plain flour
2 tsp baking powder
Preheat oven to 350⁰ and grease and line two 9in round tins.
Mix the eggs, sugar, cinnamon and oil in a bowl.
Peel the apples, covering them in the mixture to keep their colour.
Mix the baking powder into the flour, then add to the ingredients in the bowl and mix well.
Pour mixture into the tins and bake for approximately 55 minutes.
Delicious served with crème fraiche or ice cream, or with your favourite cup of tea!
This will also freeze well so you can eat one, and save another!
