Former Bluetones main man Mark Morriss takes his solo tour to The Roadmender in Northampton tomorrow.

Formed in the mid-1990s, The Bluetones, led by
singer Morriss, released six albums before disbanding in 2011.

Their 1996 debut album, Expecting To Fly, knocked Oasis’s (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? off the top of the album charts and featured the singles Bluetonic, Slight Return and Cut Some Rug.

During their 15 years, The Bluetones scored 14 top 10 hits and three top 10 albums, touring across the world.

Morriss released his second album, A Flash Of Darkness earlier this year.

The record followed 2008’s solo LP, Memory Muscle.

Support tomorrow (Friday) is by Luke Girvan.

Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets costs £8 in advance via www.sotickets.net
