Black Star Riders headline the Roadmender in Northampton next week.
The band features former Thin Lizzy members Ricky Warwick, Damon Johnson, Scott Gorham and Marco Mendoza together with drummer Jimmy DeGrasso.
In October 2012, Thin Lizzy announced they would not be recording new material under the Thin Lizzy monicker and formed Black Star Riders.
They released their debut album, All Hell Breaks Loose, in May last year before heading back into the studio in October to record its successor which will be produced by Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott with engineer Ronan McHugh.
Warwick said: “Joe and myself have been best friends for years and, as fans of the first BSR record, it was only natural to have Joe and Ronan work with us on the follow up. We are very excited about what we can achieve with the new record.”
Black Star Riders play on Tuesday, July 22.
Doors open at 7.30pm. Tickets costs £22.50. To book, visit www.theroadmender.com
