A town gallery has been relaunched with several new exhibitions now on show.
The Bridge Street gallery, in Rothwell Heritage and Arts Centre, was relaunched last week.
The gallery features several paintings from local artists, and also includes an exhibition from photographer Ian Wilson, who is showing work from the past 30 years.
The volunteer-led centre is currently open from 10am to 12.30pm on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Workers at the centre are hoping more volunteers come forward so the gallery can open for longer.
Gallery co-ordinator Christine Cocksedge said: “We’ve got a lot of work on at the gallery from artists. It’s Ian Wilson’s first exhibition, and he’s got a lot of work to show as he has been a photographer for the past 30 years.
“What we’re trying to do now is move the gallery forward. To do that, we need more volunteers so hopefully we can keep the centre open longer.”
