Pupils preparing for their school-leavers prom will be able to view the latest dress designs, hairstyles and get fashion tips at a forthcoming show.
The Evening Telegraph is staging the Northamptonshire Newspapers 2012 Prom Show, which takes place later this month at the Holiday Inn, off the A43 in Corby, fom 6pm to 9pm on Thursday, January 26.
Hundreds of teenagers attended last year’s show to find their perfect outfit and accessories.
All of the hair designs at this year’s event will be designed by stylists at Askews Hairdressing, which has salons in Corby, Kettering and Geddington.
Several other local designers and hairdressers are expected to be at the the show, which is sponsored by Bonnie Brides & Grooms.
The Evening Telegraph’s acting editor Neil Pickford said: “The show is a great chance for teenagers to have an early look at dresses and designs for their big date when they leave school in the summer.
“We’ve got a great range of local designers and stylists at this year’s event, which is only a few weeks away now.
“Last year we had hundreds of teenagers attend looking for ideas for their prom and we hope for similar numbers this time round.
“The event is already shaping up to be bigger and better than last year’s.”
There is still time for designers to book a stall for the event.
People who go along will have the chance to win a variety of prizes on the night.
Those attending will have the chance to win a £300 prom dress from Bonnie Brides & Grooms.
A £100 voucher to spend at Ballgown Heaven, Uppingham, will also be up for grabs.
The winner will be announced at 8.45pm on the night.
Admission is free.
