Wellingborough Civic Society has chosen the winner of its annual award.
The society gives an award every year for architecture or a project which best meets its aims of preserving, developing and improving features of general public amenity or historical interest in the Wellingborough area.
Society members voted Harmony Care in Midland Road, Wellingborough, as the winner.
Previous winners include the United Reformed Church in High Street, Wellingborough, which won the award for its disabled access, and Wellingborough Museum.
Judith Thompson from Wellingborough Civic Society said: “The winner is the one which best meets the society’s objectives.
“Harmony Care’s building replaced an old building and we feel the new one is in better keeping with the town.
“Harmony Care was delighted. We had a tour around, it’s lovely inside too.”
