Dom Waldouck will make his first appearance against former club Wasps on Friday night as he replaces injured George Pisi in the Saints team for the clash at Franklin’s Gardens.

Waldouck is one of two changes to the side which beat Worcester last weekend, with Tom Wood in for Phil Dowson at seven.

Pisi misses out due to a shoulder injury picked up in last Saturday’s 37-31 victory against the Warriors, and the Samoan star is now expected to be out for between six to 12 weeks.

It gives Waldouck a chance to get his place back and play against the club he left this summer after nine years’ service.

Paul Doran-Jones is against preferred to Brian Mujati, who is on the bench, and Martin Roberts returns to the replacements list after an injury ruled him out of the squad last time out.

Meanwhile, Wasps are without key wing Tom Varndell and No.8 Ashley Johnson, while influential fly-half Stephen Jones is only on the bench after being hit by a stomach bug.

Nicky Robinson takes Jones’ place at 10, while James Bailey is in for Varndell and Billy Vunipola replaces Johnson.

Former Saint James Cannon, son of the legendary Vince, is on the bench.
