Dorian West does not expect Wales star George North to be available for Saints on Saturday.
North has not played since being knocked unconscious in the win against Wasps at the end of March.
He continues to undergo concussion protocol and West admits it is unlikely he will face Saracens in the Aviva Premiership play-off semi-final at Franklin’s Gardens.
“It’s been a while since he’s played so nothing changes for us,” said forwards coach West.
“He’s available when he’s available.
“You have protocols to follow and you have to be at certain stages in the week.
“It will happen when it happens.
“I wouldn’t have thought he will be available for this weekend.”
Ben Foden will definitely miss Saturday’s game due to the long-term knee injury he suffered in January, but Saints have not reported any new problems from last weekend.
