Rushden & Higham have announced their coaching and captaincy set up for the new season.
Ben Howe will take on the duties as first-team captain taking over the role from Daniel Sharp.
Howe, a product of the club’s youth section, has played all his rugby at Manor Park except for a spell with Bedford Colts.
Matt Dicks will be the new team manager with Stuart Riding continuing as coach.
However, the club will be boosted by the return of Riding as a player this season as he comes back to the club having spent the last eight years playing National League rugby - the highlight of which saw him collect a National Two winners medal with Barking.
Dan Buckley will assist with the coaching.
Riding said: “It’s an exciting time to be part of the Rushden set-up.
“We have some superb youngsters coming through the ranks and have been fortunate enough to pick up a couple of talented new players.
“Our league campaign will be a tough one but I am looking forward to seeing some old friends - especially when we play Stewarts & Lloyds later this year.”
The club will open their Midlands Three East (South) campaign at home to Long Buckby on September 8 but get their pre-season underway on Saturday when they take on Wellingborough for the Saxby Cup.
