Rushden & Higham will be playing in Midlands Two next season having seen off county rivals Stewarts & Lloyds in the big promotion battle.
The two sides were going head to head for the runners-up place in Midlands Three East (South) with the victor earning elevation to the level above.
And it was Rushden who, after a tight first half, pulled clear of S&L to claim an emphatic 41-12 success.
The game started perfectly for them with a try in just the third minute.
S&L hit back with a try of their own, though, before a couple of penalties edged Rushden in front 13-7 at the break.
It looked like being a tense final 40 minutes of the season.
However, Rushden showed their strength in broken field play and an amazing passage of play saw them score three tries in a matter of minutes.
A fourth second-half score effectively killed the tie off before S&L, battling to the last, touched down again to narrow the gap slightly.
But the home side were never going to be denied and it was the Manor Park supporters who were cheering their promotion at the final whistle.
