A last-gasp score from Ross McMillan ensured the Wanderers made it three wins out of three in the ‘A’ League with a victory at Newcastle Falcons on Monday night.

The Saints second-string sealed a 19-17 triumph as hooker McMillan dotted down with just two minutes to go.

Will Hooley, who had earlier kicked two conversions after his side scored penalty tries, failed to add the extras but it mattered not as the Wanderers had done enough in atrocious conditions at Blaydon.
