Kettering-born lock forward James Cannon has agreed a contract extension with Aviva Premiership side London Wasps.
The 24-year-old, a product of the Kettering Rugby Club youth system, began his professional career at Northampton Saints before his move to Wasps.
And having developed his game well over the last couple of seasons the High Wycombe-based club have extended his stay with them.
He made 22 appearances last season will keen to make that more in the year ahead.
London Wasps director of rugby Dai Young said: “We’ve got a strong group of young forwards here and we want to make sure that these players develop and progress together at this club.
“James is fighting for a place in a competitive pool of locks we have here, but he’s improving all the time and (he has a) big future here.”
