Two Northamptonshire bowlers have been selected to represent England in the British Isles Indoor Bowls Council International Series at Stanley IBC in March between the 14th and 16th March, 2013.
Wellingborough’s Jamie Walker will earn his first international senior cap at No.2 in a rink skipped by one of the best known International bowlers in this country, Andy Thomson, who has been on the England scene continuously since 1981 and has won many trophies over those years.
They are joined by Jason Parkinson at lead and Sam Tolchard, who has been an England regular since 2008.
Kingsthorpe’s Neil McKee has also been selected to play at No.2 in a rink skipped by Jamie Chestney with Mark Dawes and Stephen Farish completing that line-up.
McKee has been a regular senior international since 2006 having previously represented his country at junior level as well.
The International Series takes place at the County Durham club over the weekend of March 14-16.
