Northamptonshire duo James Richardson and Ricky Evans will be back on the live televised stage over the next month or so.
Rushden’s Richardson is first up as he takes on Jamie Caven in the first round of the PDC’s Unibet European Championship in Hasselt, Belgium tomorrow (Friday).
Richardson and Caven will be the first match up in the afternoon session with their clash taking place at 1.45pm on ITV 4.
Kettering’s Evans, meanwhile, will be back on the big stage at the end of November after his place in the Cash Converters Players Championship Finals was confirmed.
Evans will take on James Wade in his first-round match in the competition, which is being held at Butlins, Minehead between November 25 and 27.
However, both county players endured a disappointing time in Barnsley last weekend as the final Players Championship events of the season were played out.
In the opening one, Richardson went down 6-1 to Kevin Painter in the first round while Evans was beaten 6-3 by Andy Parsons.
And both players suffered last-leg defeats in the first round of the final ProTour competition of the year when Evans lost 6-5 to Johnny Haines and Richardson was edged out by the same scoreline by Colin Littlecott.
The weekend was rounded off by qualifying events for the SINGHA Beer Grand Slam of Darts and the Ladbrokes World Series of Darts Finals.
Richardson lost 5-1 to Kim Huybrechts and Evans was beaten 5-4 by Vincent Kamphuis in the opening stage of the Grand Slam qualifier.
Evans went down 6-2 to Yordi Meeuwisse in the World Series qualifier but Richardson did claim a 6-5 win over Caven in a warm-up for tomorrow’s showdown, before losing out 6-4 to Dirk van Duijvenbode at the next stage.
