GEORGE KHAW captained the Rest of the World team to victory in the Five Nations tournament at The Embankment as they comfortably retained their crown by 20 points from Ireland.

With Andy Foster posting an individual best of 45 points, the team of Steve Oakley, John Terry, Neil Mellows, Philip Wayman, John Aguis, Brian Kane, Pauline Terry, Betty Dobbs and Khaw bagged 349 points.

Scotland were seven points further behind the Irish in third position, England finished fourth, while Wales had the dubious honour of collecting the wooden spoon.
