Orgill hits form at Corby Silver Band

AFTER winning so many matches with Desborough & Rothwell AC, Chris Orgill decided to spread his wings and try his luck with friends he has made at Corby Silver Band and on his first outing really hit top form with a big win.

This match was fished at Lubenham’s Holme Farm and with a pole and pellets rig he hauled out small carp to finish to finish in front of club chairman Keith Radford with over 72lb.

Because of his popularity and good fortue of late quite a number of his friends have also decided to try their luck.

With the added number of anglers at the Silver Band, 19 fished the event and as many as three more are expressing an interest.

Result: Chris Orgill 72lb 4oz, Keith Radford 44-6, Eddie Taylor 44-0, Dave Hulme 40-12, Neil Taylor 39-8, John Final 34-0. Next match: Sunday at Peatling Parva Fishery Pump Lake for the Annandale Shield.
