A disappointing fourth place was all Daniel Keatings could achieve in the Commonwealth Games individual floor discipline.
Having picked up bronze medals in the team and individual all-around competitions, Keatings might have been hoping to add to his collection.
Sitting third with one competitor left he could only watch on as Canadian Scott Morgan recorded 14.550 to take silver knocking New Zealand’s David Bishop into bronze and Keatings out of the medals.
England’s Max Whitlock won his third gold of the Games with a score of 15.533 after a near-faultless routine.
Keatings still has the pommel horse and high bar competitions in which he can add to his haul.
